Formerly Deliverance Mission Christian Church (DMCC), Pastored by Monty Weatherall, it is Love Church's goal to make sure that guests and congregants experience the love of God through a visit that's rich and fulfilling. Love Church believes that the Bible is the absolute authority for church order and government. After 24 years, our congregation is poised to continue preaching the gospel of the kingdom into all the world as a witness to the nations as well as furthering our commitment to loving people in our region
The Boys & Girls Club's 3 priority outcomes for the youth that they serve are academic success, healthy habits, and positive moral character. Their mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
East St. Louis School District 189 is focused on providing rigorous, high-quality education and exceptional educational experiences to the nearly 5,000 students (ten school campuses; preschool to 12th grade) within its community. Their students reflect the local community: vibrant, resilient, and strong. District 189's mission is to cultivate the potential in every student to thrive as a global citizen, by inspiring a love of learning and civic engagement, challenging and supporting every student to achieve academic excellence, by embracing the full richness of their community.
The Springfield IL chapter of the NAACP's mission is to achieve equity, political rights, and social inclusion, by advancing policies and practices that expand human and civil rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate the well-being, education, and economic security of Black people, and all persons of color. They envision an inclusive community rooted in liberation, where all persons can exercise their civil and human rights without discrimination.
